11 Nov Pharmaceutical Storage Investment
Here at McArdle Skeath we believe in investing in the future. Our focus begins by ensuring that the needs of our customer and their customers are central to every solution we design. Since 1968 this has been the drive behind our company’s success. Our founder, Michael McArdle identified the need to constantly adapt to customer requirements and thus witnessed many changes over the decades. Originally a transport company it diversified by offering warehousing services at the request of our existing customer base. Following this was the acquisition of Skeath Transport which gave the company a refrigerated transport service capability and saw the introduction to temperature critical pharmaceutical transport. Changes to legislation led to a focus on quality assurances and we are now approved by many regulatory bodies, such as the HPRA. McArdle Skeath has two locations servicing Pharmaceutical, Biopharma and Nutritional clients with temperature-controlled storage services. Most recently we have added a -40°C temperature-controlled storage solution to our portfolio of services for a large multinational biotech client.
Today McArdle Skeath have undertaken another significant investment to support the Pharmaceutical sector in Ireland. The decision was made to upgrade the largest of our warehouse chambers on the Hollystown, Dublin 15 site to cater for the future storage needs of the Pharmaceutical industry. This latest project will add extra capacity for temperature sensitive goods that are stored between +15°C and +25°C. Our inhouse team of Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) will lead and deliver this project by February 2021. We understand the critical nature of medicinal and pharmaceutical products stored at our facilities and this investment will help us to continue delivering innovative solutions and set new industry standards in service, reliability, safety, and quality assurance.
