McArdle Skeath are delighted to add 3 new High Spec Scania R500 High Lines to their fleet. These new additions are in stark contrast to our grey livery and are marking the 55th year anniversary of McArdle Skeath.
McArdle Transport was established in 1968 when Michael bought his first truck, an AEC Mandator. In 2008 McArdle Transport acquired Skeath Transport and the trading name changed from McArdle Transport to McArdle Skeath, as we know it today.
55 years in business is a great achievement to both Michael & Lily and is a credit to both of them to have built the business up from one truck to a fleet of 30 which now also incorporates warehousing with a capacity of 50,000 + pallets between their sites in Inniskeen and Hollystown. The business employs 160 people locally. Michael & Lily have imparted their vision/knowledge and family values onto their children and their grandchildren. The McArdle Family members play a role in supporting the business, younger generations of the Family have brought in new energy and expertise together with an innate understanding of the values and vison of the older generation. The values of the McArdle Family are instrumental in the day to day running of McArdle Skeath. Michael & Lily’s four children Micheál, Siobhán, Ciarán, & Eámonn, are very much involved in the day to day running of the business. And now with the 3rd generation of the McArdle Family getting involved in various roles within the business the future looks bright for McArdle Skeath.
Congratulations Michael, Lily & Family on your 55 years in Business, here’s to continued success and growth over the years to come.
