17 Jul Our Supply Chain Logistics Facility is now Open
Friday 14th of July is another milestone for everyone in McArdle Skeath. On this day we have brought in our first load of product into storage in our new state of the art supply chain storage facility in Hollystown, Dublin 15.
Over the last decade McArdle Skeath has seen rapid expansion of our storage facilities. On our 13 acre logistics site in Dundalk, we have tripled our warehousing capacity from 7,000 pallet spaces to 21,000 pallet spaces in less than 5 years. Our business has adapted to an ever-changing logistics environment which was a major reason for the construction of our 27,000 pallet facility located 15 minutes from Dublin Airport and 20 minutes from Dublin port.
McArdle Skeath’s logistics facility will become operational in several phases over the coming months and is on target to be fully operational by October this year. The ambient room which is temperature monitored between +5°C and +25°C has a total capacity of 11,946 pallets is the first phase to be complete and operational as of today.
