09 Jun New facility on schedule to open this July
Over the last decade, McArdle Skeath has reacted and expanded our warehouse facilities in Inniskeen, Dundalk. We tripled our pallet occupancy to 21,000 pallets within a five year period. This continuous expansion has led to the acquisition of a 25-acre site in Hollystown, Dublin 15, where the construction of a new state of the art facility commenced in August 2016. The business has adapted to an ever-changing logistics environment. This adaptable ethos has marked yet another service diversification in our existing portfolio, offering time sensitive products with specific cold chain warehousing and packaging solutions.
In summary, our new supply chain facility will encompass the following:
- 3 Cold Chain Chambers which can achieve specifications in the +/- ranges (Total Capacity of 2,241 Standard Pallets)
- 2 Chill Rooms which manages products between +2°C and +8°C (Total Capacity of 7,992 Standard Pallets)
- 1 Syntra Room which controls products between +15°C and +25°C (Total Capacity of 5,030 Standard Pallets)
- 1 Ambient Room which is temperature monitored between +5°C and +25°C (Total Capacity of 11,946 Standard Pallets)
- Mezzanine Room which will coordinate all Value-Added operations such as product inspections, product re-packaging, relabelling, resizing and many more product solutions
- Clean Room which will control product testing
